In part 1 of our blockchain in procurement series, we outlined what a blockchain is, what it can do and its potential use for procurement. In part 2, we examined concrete ways that vendors currently use blockchain to enhance their procurement process offerings. In part 3 we looked at some of the ways we anticipate blockchain technology to evolve in the near future.

This final article of our 2023 blockchain series covers some cases where blockchain projects failed and/or where companies encountered problems in implementing blockchain solutions. We also offer insight into how the problems and failures of these past use cases may be prevented.
